Surfing For Vision is an inspiring annual event held on the Jersey Shore in Long Branch, New Jersey, created by the Visual Experience Foundation to give individuals who are blind, legally blind, or living with significant vision loss the opportunity to experience the thrill of surfing and being out on the water. The free, family-friendly event — supported by volunteer surfers, certified safety personnel, and local lifeguards — offers participants the chance to feel the wind, taste the salt spray, and ride waves with expert guidance, while loved ones enjoy free surfing lessons and wave runner rides.
